I laser-cut the parts for this necklace on my little laser cutter and use colourful anodised aluminium jump rings to hold it all together!
I really enjoy experimenting with this thicker acrylic, it’s amazing the difference that 1mm can make to the overall shape of a necklace. I used the dark plum purple colour with a golden yellow colour of anodised aluminium jump ring, to make a contrast inspired by more gaudy jewellery.
All of my Petal Necklaces measure approximately 48cm/19in, If you would like yours longer or shorter, just leave me a message at the checkout, and I’ll change it!
Your necklace will be delivered in a colourful box that’s recyclable, and has a cotton pad to protect it.
I use second class Royal Mail postage, and aim to have orders in the post within 24 hours of you placing the order, however please allow three days just in case! To upgrade your postage, add one of these to your order: https://folksy.com/shops/JessieMakesStuff/collections/259202
The lemon shaped beads came from research in my final year at university – Heriot-Watt in the Scottish Borders - and I’ve developed these necklaces from there, experimenting with colours, materials and methods of putting them together. I love trying to make my work resemble plants and flowers.
