I have hand made the poppy on this fascinator with individual red petals and used a vintage button as the centre. The poppy is set against bright red netting and complimentary buttons and pearl-like beads. This fascinator is mounted on a metal comb, so is easy to slide into place. It would make the perfect addition to any summer outfit, whether it be a wedding or party.

I have been into arts and crafts from a young age, making clothes, jewellery and accessories since I was a little girl. People would often compliment me on the things I’d made and asked me why I don’t sell my creations. So, after years of being asked this question, I decided to give it a go and set up Myma’s Emporium.

I got these individual petals at a wedding and loved making them up into little poppies with buttons at the centre. I made brooches and hair slides and thought how great they would look on a fascinator too. They make such pretty adornments and the bright red netting makes this fascinator a statement piece.
