I have been into arts and crafts from a young age, making clothes, jewellery and accessories since I was a little girl. People would often compliment me on the things I’d made and asked me why I don’t sell my creations. So, after years of being asked this question, I decided to give it a go and set up Myma’s Emporium.

The butterfly brooch on this fascinator was broken, but it was too pretty to through away, so I thought I would use it as inspiration for a fascinator. I wanted to make something that was classy and nothing says classy like black to me, so it had to be mounted on a black base. I wanted to keep the design simple and so used some spider web netting and a couple of cute polka dot feathers to frame the lovely butterfly.
