This set of four ceramic hangers have been handmade from white earthenware clay. Whilst the clay is damp it was impressed with intricate lace for a unique decorative effect. Each hanger has been kiln fired twice, initially to fire the clay, which is then hand painted tonal colours. The final firing seals the vibrant glazed colour. Each hanger is then strung together with coordinating ribbon and a bead.
This set comprises an orange daisy flower, a peach babushka, a coral fish and a pink chick.
Daisy - 7.5cm wide and 8cm tall. Total length with ribbon is 14.5cm
Babushka - 4cm wide and 7.5cm tall. Total length with ribbon is 13cm
Fish - 8cm wide and 3.5cm tall. Total length with ribbon is 9.5cm
Chick - 5.5cm wide and 5.5cm tall. Total length with ribbon is 12cm
Originally made in 2015 for a retail outlet, I found a whole box of these remaining handmade hangers in a forgotten box up high on a shelf! They are all in condition and are looking for a lovely new home.
