This sterling silver necklace is handmade using a genuine 1956 British ex-circulated sixpence coin. This coin features Queen Elizabeth II in her youth on one side, with the tails showing the thistle, clover and rose symbols of the United Kingdom. The sixpence measures 19mm in diameter and has been sterilised and lightly cleaned by hand to remove surface dirt and retain the coin's patina.

It is strung on an 18inch sterling silver snake chain, stamped 925. The charm attached is made of an ivory freshwater pearl and a beautiful glass faceted AB crystal teardrop. This piece makes a fantastic every day item that goes with any outfit.

The charm hangs separately to the coin with a sterling silver pinch bail and jump ring.
