Like all parents, I have always wanted to teach my daughter the safest and best way to do things.

I found that when trying to light our open fire together, that regular firelighters not only had a very strong scent, which remained on our hands for a long time, but often fizzled out before our fire even got started.

So, I set out to make a more interesting, unique, nice smelling, long burning and innovative firelighter. And Flaming Mice was born.
