Was doing a number of cityscapes and landscapes and decided i would do some figurative stuff and try my hand at a romantic couple type of painting. This made me think back to the early days of me and my wife ( girlfriend then) when we could just head out of out tenement flat to for a drink whenever it suited and then find our way home cozied up….without the stresses and trials of babysitters, demanding teenagers etc etc .Just the two of us and the rest of the world.at that time. Still have our wee romantic nights right enough 20 odd years later with demanding teenagers to go home to and a seven year old,,,,
