I love to play mixing textiles and weaving to make something more up to date and different. I originally bought this material to make a floating top for myself but as I liked it I bought more than was needed. I felt that the drape of the fabric lent itself towards a scarf, but then I liked the idea of a little more weight and hence the idea of a woven scarf/boa. The fraying of the unfinished fabric gives the boa a feather like feel. I liked the end result so much that I made another one in vintage fabric and have kept a look out for other light weight material.
