I love to mix vintage textile and weaving to make something more up to date and different. This was part of my Grandmothers hoard of material that I have been hanging on to for many years. I felt that the crispness of the material would lend itself to something a little more 'glamorous'. The light fraying of the unfinished fabric gives the boa a feathery feel and the fabric gives the whole boa the weight of a luxury item.
