A simple design that would fit in most households this box is suitable for holding melts or tarts (including Yankee type).
This box is made from mahogany with a mellow wax finish and is 3.5" outside width to 9" outside length approx.
The box can also be used to hold other items which makes it a handy storage container.

I decided to make this so that my wife could keep melts in a box that could be stored away or left out without looking unsightly, apart from that I would know where to find them when she asked to me fetch one. The first ones were made from MDF with a painted finish, which I still do, but for me I like the richness that you get with waxed finishes on wood.
