Item details

This pendant necklace is simple, modern and easy to wear. It goes with everything and its texture means it really captures the light.

Measuring approx 1 cm, this substantial solid sterling nugget soldered onto a sterling jump ring hangs from a blackened brass 18inch chain.

As each nugget is individually made from recycled silver the texture will differ from that photographed. The same jig is used each time so all nuggets are a uniform sizea ish!

All items beautifully wrapped in coloured tissue paper and in either a box or gift envelope depending on the item purchased.

I love melting stuff! When silver is heated to the point of melting, it's like molten lava and naturally forms a ball shape.
I wanted to create a nugget shape so I carved a mould in a charcoal block and use a crucible to drop the silver in to the impression.
As the silver cools it forms a unique texture so every one is different.
As I have lots of off cuts and tiny unused bits of silver I make these gorgeous blobs instead of selling it for scrap.
