This is made from a piece of a very old puzzle/jigsaw that I found in a charity shop. A lot of the pieces were broken, sadly. Someone has made these plain wooden pieces very awesome by drawing on the relevant markings, and some quite bizarre facial expressions! They are so comical I couldn't resist buying them. I am not even sure what some of them are meant to be!
All I have done to these wooden pieces is sand down some rough edges and attach a brooch fixing on the back. Nothing else has been done to them, apart from applying a layer of clear varnish to the back as they were bare wood. Otherwise I have preserved them in all their amazingly silly glory!
