Walking around the Cotswolds where I live, I am inspired by nature, the landscape and the sense of history surrounding me, above and beneath my feet. From May to late August I see the swifts and swallows swooping above my head and they make me happy. I want to capture in my pieces, that feeling, a timeless and romantic quality, with a nod to nature and antiquity.
