Custom made for you and your little one, this quilt will be sewn and quilted entirely by hand, using a selection of reproduction cotton fabrics, filled with 100% pure wool wadding.

The perfect addition for any baby bedroom or nursery, this patchwork quilt is inspired by bed covers in children's books.

Using a selection of feedsack style cotton prints, your custom made quilt will measure approximately 33 inches wide and be 45 inches long, it will be sewn and quilted entirely by hand so will feel incredibly soft and comforting.

Made from a series of " evening star" six inch blocks combined with squares of solid print this quilt can be made to compliment any colour nursery, bedroom or playroom.

Please note, you will not be receiving the quilt in the photos above but one using the same star blocks then sewn using different fabric.

I can very happy to discuss fabric choices for the patchwork, backing and binding with you upon request.

Please be aware due to the amount of work involved, a quilt can take up to 6 weeks to complete, so please allow extra time for delivery (to be agreed upon when the order is placed)

Due to the wool wadding gentle hand washing in warm water is recommended . Please dry flat, and DO NOT TUMBLE-DRY OR IRON......This flattens the texture of the quilting.

The price also includes a small hand embroidered name tag on the back with the name of your choice.

Influenced by the traditional quilts of yesterday, I hand sew small quilts especially for babies and children.

The patchwork tops are carefully hand pieced together before being hand quilted using a baptist fan pattern

I only use pure wool wadding of the highest quality.

Each quilt is unique, and is intended as an heirloom piece that can be much loved and treasured in your family and passed onto future generations..
