This is a nautical chest made from recycled pallet timber. To get the nautical " washed effect " I painted the pallet timbers and sanded them back down slightly. The finish on this chest is beautiful and is a real solid well made piece.

This chest was born for a need for storage within my working environment. I make storage chests from recycled pallet timber on a regular basis and decided to take this one step further and finish them to a greater standard, whilst adding a little bit more design flair. The pallet timber works great to create a nautical theme for the chest.
