We make these corsages from sari fabric. We cut them into circles, fold them and hand stitch to backing fabric. Finally they are finished off by hand with the maker deciding on the final embellishments making them completely unique. This corsage is approx 8cm in diameter and mounted, at the back, with a brooch pin with a safety catch. They would brighten any bag, coat or clothes.

Our team of volunteers meet every Wednesday to sit together, socialise, in our lovely studio, and make these beautiful, eco friendly, items to sell. Lisa was the inspiration behind the design of this particular item. After being given a bag full of sari's, she discovered, by accident, that they make these lovely corsages. The nature of the weave gives a fantastic frayed flowery look that looks beautiful when hand stitched together.
As a non-profit making organisation, all of the proceeds from our sales go towards supporting the social aims of our organisation which are of particular benefit to people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression.
