This dainty bead woven bracelet is made from tiny red seed beads which have an unusual gold sheen when they catch the light. These are stitched around oblique rows of red 4mm faceted firepolish beads and 4mm pearly glass beads in cream and burgundy. The overall effect is a rich colour mix that would look good on that special occasion, or for just when you want to feel sophisticated. The bracelet is finished with a gold plated clasp. The seed beads are best quality Miyuki and the thread used to weave this piece is high quality Fireline. The bracelet drapes softly and need to be a good fit to sit well on the wrist, so please check the size carefully.
The bracelet is 19.1cms (7.52ins) long and 2.1cms (0.8ins) wide.
The bracelet will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard box.
Having made several necklaces in Russian Spiral and really enjoyed the process, I discovered pictures of this very pretty flat version of the stitch. However it was difficult to find a pattern and I was delighted when I came across one from Cara Landry at Dragonfly Lane who give permission for items made from their patterns to be sold. This piece is an adaptation of that pattern.
