A Fit of Peak is the quarterly Arts magazine for the High Peak area.

This is issue 2, for Spring 2015, and features a "fakelore" story by me on page 9.

There are, of course, other items for you to peruse. The editor, Anna Girolami, has brought together local and ex-pat artists and writers of many styles and interests to present their work in this showcase.

To quote the editorial, "To celebrate the arrival of Spring (to even the High Peak) we have a magazine full of mysticism and optimism, broad strokes and tiny details - plus a bright, technicolour cover."

The magazine is the work of several artists and writers, and an editor who has also contributed rhymes and reviews.

This issue has Spring-time themes, after the long, snowy winter the Peaks are famous for, and celebrates the return of flowers, hares and birds.

My own contribution tells a tale of folk song and pagan survivals in this remote area of the country ...
