I needed a birthday present for my niece. I knew she was getting a certain princess dress, and I wanted to get her accessories to match. However, I remembered that my girls had the plastic crowns, which while pretty, were always breaking, or being stood on by their Dad!! I was constantly buying new ones, and they never stayed on anyway, so I found this pattern, adapting it to fit the theme.....my niece was delighted!!
