Item details

"Sweet Candy stripe" jumper/ sweater has been carefully reconstructed using contrasting natural knit fabrics, in this case a mixture of fine and lightweight lambswool and merino.
All edges are finished with a professional overlock stretch stitch.
The sleeves are gently flared and the body softly designed to lie across the chest with the drop neck, flattering many different forms and shapes. The neckline/ chest is gathered up on the left with a large buckle, please note this is not adjustable, but aesthetic only. And the front buttons also, are aesthetic (one can not access via!)

This one off quirky garment has been created to add some fun and originality to any wardrobe.
The measurements are as follows: approx uk size 14/16
with garment lying flat; Length 63cm
Waist 49cm
Bustline 47cm
Sleeve (underarm length) 45cm
Width of top sleeve(arm) 24cm

Each garment has been hand-washed, steamed and inspected after production to ensure of garment quality.

A wish to use semi luxury, quality long lasting yarns, in this case natural fibres including cashmere and lambswool, thus, creating new designs that are hard wearing and warm yet lightweight and versatile.

I find all my reclaimed materials here in the Scottish Borders, where there was once a thriving knitwear industry, many of the garments I acquire have been manufactured by one or another of the reputable knitwear company that once existed, other items maybe recreated from ex samples or end of line yarns.
