Item details

We make these corsages from scraps we save from the studio floor. We cut them into, approx, 1cm strips and machine stitch them together. Finally they are finished off by hand with the maker deciding on the final embellishments making them completely unique. This corsage is approx 8cm in diameter and mounted, at the back, with a brooch pin with a safety catch. They would brighten any bag, coat or clothes.

Our team of volunteers meet every Wednesday to sit together, socialise, in our lovely studio, and make these beautiful, eco friendly, items to sell. Lynda was the inspiration behind the design of this particular corsage. Rather than throw away the cuttings that drop on the floor from our everyday craftmaking, she realised that they could be salvaged to make something beautiful and after a little thought, came up with these corsages. We have plans for the even smaller bits that we are aquiring!
As a non-profit making organisation, all of the proceeds from our sales go towards supporting the social aims of our organisation which are of particular benefit to people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression.
