Item details

Beautiful set of 4 stoneware bowls to be displayed together or separately. These were hand built by me in my 'potting shed' and involved experiments in organic textures. Outer of all 4 items is textured and given a cobalt blue oxide wash. Inners are glazed in a beautiful sea blue/green glossy glaze for contrast. Largest bowl is approx 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide and 5.5cm (2.25 inches) high.

I had been experimenting for some time with different textures on clay and also trying to refine my hand-built bowl shapes. This set comprises a lovely combination of textures shown off by a blue cobalt oxide wash on the outer surfaces combined with a beautiful glossy blu/green glaze on inners.
