This bunting is made from ripstop nylon fabric, which is the same material that kites and tents are made from. as it is the same both sides, it is a single piece of fabric for each pennant, which keeps costs down.

It would be perfect for décor for a party, where it doesn't matter if it gets rained on or not. It also has the durability to remain outside for a period of time. Each pennant is securely sewn to a length of bias binding tape. I can make any length of bunting, it works out at £6 per 1.5m .

Having been asked to make some waterproof bunting a few years ago, I came across ripstop fabric, which gave the same movement as the cotton that I use in standard bunting, so I have over the years built up a stock of different colours of ripstop fabric. This black and white combination has quite a sophisticated feel to it, which I like.
