A one off retro designed chair. The artist has sourced this retro style shell chair and some fabulous vintage annuals to use for the decoupage design. The chair has been outlined using 1960s comic book paper. The main design is made up from a selection of picture stories from The Hotspur Book For Boys 1968 and 1976. The chair is painted with a hard coat furniture mod podge and protected with a satin finish sealer. You can wipe the chair and it is scratch proof. Dimension 46cm wide and 82cm high. I wanted to mix up contempary design with vintage. The chair was perfect and I hunted around to find the perfect paper to use for decoupage. The paper is an original Hotspurs annual 1960s edition.
