A handmade Oak and English Walnut side table with a single drawer.

Each piece is made to order which means most aspects of the piece can be adjusted to your liking, such as materials, details, finishes, dimensions etc.

Blagdon Forge is my little workshop at the foot of the Mendips where I work to create one off and small runs of bespoke furniture. Using local grown timbers where possible, I make good use of traditional joinery techniques and hand tools but also embrace modern practices where suitable.

Made as a commission piece for a customer who wanted to compliment but not mimic their bedroom furniture. It took a number of discussions and drawings before we came up with this design which we were both delighted with. The final piece did not have the inlaid walnut stripe in the centre of the top as shown in the photo, this being an example of how I will happily customise pieces to your requirements.
