A solid timber side table with two drawers and bent laminated rails in contrasting Oak and Walnut.

Constructed from prime European Oak with American Black Walnut details, the table shown is approximately 79cm high, 50cm wide and 27cm deep and finished in a soft laquer to show off the timbers natural beauty.

Each piece is made to order which means most aspects of the piece can be adjusted to your liking, such as materials, details, finishes, dimensions etc.

Blagdon Forge is my little workshop at the foot of the Mendips where I work to create one off and small runs of bespoke furniture. Using local grown timbers where possible, I make good use of traditional joinery techniques and hand tools but also embrace modern practices where suitable.

I wanted to make a sleek entrance table suitable to hold phones, keys etc. This was for my own home and not a customer commission so I was able to play with two of my favourite timbers - Oak and Walnut. The bent rail laminations came out well with the contrast of the two woods highlighting the wave shape.

I usually begin work on the piece within days of receiving and order and so its is difficult to make a full refund as I will have already invested amount of the cost, however my two aims are to produce quality furniture and happy customers. If you do wish to cancel an order then please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to come to an amicable solution.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
