I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £180.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £180.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 5/04/23.

Spiral weave was one of the first beadweaving stitches I learned. From then on I was hooked on this weave and for months I did nothing else. I experimented with this stitch in almost every colour and bead type and combination there is and found how delightfully versatile it is. Exactly the same stitch can give such a wide range of looks depending on how many beads you stitch around the core and whether you use big seed beads, small ones, drops, crystals (as here), or even pearls. I like using faceted beads for the way they reflect the light, especially when worn at night under artificial or candle light.
