This sculpture is named "Bash"

Bash is made from pre-used automotive engine parts. The base drum is a piston, the tom toms are valves and valve springs, and the "stage" base is a Ford drive gear. The single cymbol is a ceramic guider disc from a textile machine, the body of the drummer is elevator (lift) cable, and its arms are car engine main bearings.

The whole sculpture weighs just under 2kgs, and is 24cm(9 1/2") tall x 15cm(6") wide x 14cm(5 1/2") deep. Bash has been spray painted in an off-black metallic base coat with burgundy and silver highlights. The whole sculpture has then been finished in a high gloss clear lacquer.
