Baby Beanies - Keeping precious heads warm and snuggly!

Please sponsor this tiny 11" beanie which has been knitted with love and is ready to send to a baby in special care.

Baby Beanies is a small charity made up entirely of volunteers knitting and sending beanie hats to special care units across the UK. The beanies are used to help premature and poorly babies to regulate their body temperature. Sometimes this is the difference between a baby being allowed home or not! We are in constant need of funds to allow us to purchase wool and to make our deliveries.

By sponsoring this beanie you are helping our charity to knit and send tiny baby beanie hats to special care units across the UK. 100% of your donation will be used to purchase more wool and to deliver beanies to the babies who need them.

By purchasing a beanie you are sponsoring it. You will NOT receive a beanie, they are all already destined for special care units in hospitals throughout the UK.

Approx 1 in every 13 babies is born early - that's around 60,000 born every year!
Some special care units need 900+ hats each year to help the babies in their care to regulate their body temp. Knitting a hat is such a simple thing to do and it can make a huge difference to the progress of these tiny babies.
