These tiny birds are made out of creamy white earthenware clay and are coated in a transparent glaze, before their second firing. They are the natural cream colour of the clay. They are entirely hand made by me and I have made them free standing so that you can group them as you wish. Also, as you will see in the pictures, they each have a little base to stand on so afterwards can be enjoyed as little ornaments or keepsakes. If you would prefer both birds to be facing the same way, just let me know.

They are each 6cm / 2.5" long x 3.5cm / 1.5" high, approx.

As they might be for a gift or just to keep safely, they will be wrapped in tissue paper and sent to you in a gift box.

As they take quite a while to make, please give me 4 weeks notice before I can post them off. Pottery is a long process!

I love making birds using the simple Scandi style. It is a shape I have used many times for hanging or Christmas decorations, but this is the first time I used them for cake toppers (or little ornaments). I really enjoy making them and imagining them on top of someones special cake. I hope you like them too.
