Bead embroidered necklace with a fringe for extra elegance, The amethyst is surrounded by beautiful Japanese seed beads which have all been embroidered on a few at a time. The fringe brings an extra dimension of movement to the pendant. The pendant measures approx 6cmx5cm without the fringe and measuring to the longest fringe makes the pendant approx 12 cm in length. The necklace is made from using peyote stitch which is ended with a toggle clasp. The length of the necklace is approx 46cm (18") The pendant is backed using black ultrasuede.

I love purples and blues and the gold just offset the beautiful cabochon perfectly. I wanted to work with a fringe on this one to make a simple necklace into something so much more.
