It's almost Easter and almost Lambing season. This is a great gift you can make for a little one if you are planning to try and avoid purchasing too many chocolate eggs this year. Knitted lamb rattle pattern. Lamb has a large bell to create a delicate rattle sound. Soft to touch, to grab and in sound. (Unsure if we can make the loop stitch? check out our blog for a step-by-step knitting guide sebastianloves.blogspot.co.uk)

Double Knit pattern, any Double knit yarn will work fine. Suggest Debbie Bliss Ecobaby 100%cotton. Size 3.5mm single pointed needles required. Toy stuffing and a bell around 1.5cm-2cm in diameter required. Plus some left over brown and blue wool for the nose and eyes. Some ribbon added as a nice finish.

With Easter approaching (and Lambing season) Why not make little one this Lamb rattle rather than buying them a chocolate Egg. It will certainly last longer. With a bell inside it makes a gentle rattle noise and is soft to touch too.
