This is a beautiful very delicate looking pin cushion – would be fabulous as a present for a new bride who loves sewing!
I have used the softest off white and softest baby pink threads and have given it a further boost of luxury by outlining areas in a shiny gold thread.
The finished canvas has been sewn onto a square of pale pink quality wool felt using blanket stitch.

The pin cushion has been filled with small plastic beads and is approx. 9cm square

I have sewn this in my newly acquired skill of ‘canvas work’. I learned it and couldn’t stop making things! It takes a long time to complete a piece as there are so many different types of stitches to master but once my design has been put down on paper there is no stopping me.
The photographs do not do this little pin cushion justice i'm afraid.
