My brothers and I chipped in to buy our youngest brother a record player for his 21st birthday. For Christmas I wanted to make him a record holder that was both practical and beautiful. He was definitely chuffed. Through people seeing the holder I got a few commissions, so I decided to add it to the repertoire of things I'd be making at my newly opened workshop in rural West Yorkshire.
