I love to walk in the countryside surrounding my home high up on the South Downs. Days can be so bright and blue, especially near the coast on a wonderful summer's day. And sometimes - especially when it's windy, it's almost as though the natural world is laughing out loud.

I've tried to express this intense feeling of joy in this painting.
