Item details

An attractive round turquoise aqua-coloured pendant incorporating silver leaf and sitting in a large silver-plated bezel. The colours of the kumihimo braid have been specifically chosen and woven to match those within the pendant itself.

The pendant measures 3cm in diameter (1.25")

The braid is 41 cm (16”) long and fastens with a silver-plated lobster claw clasp and has a silver-plated extension chain.

The whole piece weighs 17g.

I had just watched the film Captain Corelli's Mandolin and fallen in love with the beautiful scenery of Cephallonia, especially the wonderful turquoise sea...it also reminded me of a magical trip to Paxos many moons ago...so I thought I'd try to design a piece with colours reminiscent of that place.
