Growing up in the 1980's had quite an effect on me, an age where bright colours ruled the day....I remember watching my older sisters dressing up to go out, with really big hair (with little regard for the ozone layer I should imagine :-) very bright earrings and even brighter high heeled stiletto shoes amongst other unwise choices!
To me these earrings are just a little nod to the past years where at the tender age of 9yrs I fell in love with a Black & Red kitchen, which to me at that time was just the coolest thing ever!!!!
