I was looking at a mother battling to try and put a jumper on her child while the child was strapped in it's buggy. What an annoying and time consuming process with all those straps and harnesses to bother about and having to totally unstrap or wake up the child in order to put on a warm layer when the weather changes. Blankets just fall off or get caught in the wheels and I thought it would be a great idea to have a warm, cuddly poncho which was easy to put on, or remove in a car seat or buggy without undoing any straps or disturbing the baby. The poncho needed to be a special design, with a long front and short back so it could literally just be slipped over the head without any fabric bunching up the back and being uncomfortable. This led me to design the travel poncho. This has proved to be a very popular design for which I have received great feedback. I have added in a little pocket in the front for a toy or dummy. It can be bespoked with the child's name if you wish.
