I have sourced some extremely high quality Carnelian. They are AA-plus micro faceted pear briolettes of 2 different sizes, suspended from a delicate gold filled chain. The ear hooks are also gold filled. These are simple, classic earrings, entirely hand made.

The Carnelian gemstones are a rich burnt orange colour with a lovely vibrant translucent quality which really catches the light and reflects the colour beautifully.
Gold filled is when a thick layer of gold is bonded to the core base metal. It is very hard wearing and will not wear off.
