Dark purple amethyst ball with two different colours of freshwater pearls on a hammered sterling silver ring and chain, set off by a tiny silver leaf.

The chain is a 42cm (16 inches) long silver bead chain, and the pendant hangs 3 cm below that, sitting just below the collar bone. If you would like a different length of chain, please let me know when you order.

Your jewellery will arrive, posted first class, in a pretty organza bag. If you would like it gift-wrapped, and with a special message, please add a note to your order and I will be happy to do this at no extra charge .

I've been interested in the healing power of crystals for a long time. This one of a series of pendants that I've been making in different stones, which - if you choose to view them that way - are supportive and healing, but are also elegant and pretty.

In the language of crystal healing, amethyst is an extremely powerful and protective stone, with a high spiritual vibration. It is the colour for the crown chakra.

It's also traditionally the birthstone for February.
