This beautiful piece of solid English Oak has been carefully prepared and waxed with Hand Made Beeswax based polish, providing 3 cast iron hooks upon which to hang your jackets.

The array measures 61 cm long and roughly 22cm wide, although this varies as it follows the bark line. The grain of the wood is amazing, and given that it is oak when it is hidden by a multitude of jackets, it is strong enough to cope admirably.

The bark adds an interesting appeal when the rack is empty, so these hooks are attractive at all times. They are also versatile in that they can be hung on a wall or the back of a door, given that they have ''D' ring hooks on the back.

My brother and i make all sorts of bits and pieces out of reclaimed or rescued wood, primarily Oak.

This piece was part of a large consignment that we bought from a Timber Frame Builders yard, and when I saw it, I felt that it should be shown off to it's full potential, as well as providing something useful. The hooks were found in a reclaimation yard, so the only thing that has been bought specifically are the 'D' hooks at the back for hanging the hooks onto the wall or door.

The wood has been sanded and then waxed using Hand Made Beeswax polish, so has been nourished as well as looking beautiful.
