Pied Wagtails can be found accross Britain in all habitats, although they move South from Scotland and the North of England in the wintertime.

I wanted to draw the strong black and white colouring of the birds, and the contrast between the greyer female and the striking male - alongside the bright red berries of the hawthorne.
