The Badger on the cover of this A6 notebook (cut from natural white, handmade Shetland pre-felt) has been wet-felted onto a background of black Merino and brown Shetland wools and then lightly hand-stitched for definition. It is designed as a removable slip cover, so is slightly thicker and sturdier than my other notebooks. This is a one-of-a-kind piece: I always vary the colours, embroidery and embellishments on my notebooks to ensure that no two are ever the same.

The cover comes complete with an A6 (11cm x 15cm) 70gsm, 120 page narrow-lined hardback notebook, but should fit snugly onto any A6 notebook up to about 2cm thick. It is a great size to slip into a handbag, and would make a lovely Christmas or Birthday gift.

Please note: this item is totally hand-felted, and so will not be as even as commercial felt. It will, however, continue to felt with handling and use, to produce a very tactile item, soft to the touch.

Your Notebook will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper for transit, and will be posted as a "Small Parcel" by First Class post within 3 days of clearance of payment. This book can also be purchased WITHOUT the notebook is you are looking for a more economical posting option: just message me before purchase and I will amend the listing accordingly. We moved into our new home (a beautiful little cottage in the woods) back in Easter and sat back to wait for the wildlife to appear...and waited....and waited. Evenutally my husband decided to put up a night-vision camera, but after a couple of weeks with still no wildlife we were beginning to feel a little disheartened. Then one night who should come stumbling through our garden but Mr Badger. Time to have another try at a badger design, I thought!
