Item details

A 20cmx30cm (8"x12") mounted colour photograph professionally printed on archival paper. The image is taken at Gearrannan on the Isle of Lewis, a stunning community of restored blackhouses tucked into the land beside the Atlantic coastline.

The print is mounted with Daler Rowney white pH neutral mounting board, wrapped in a biodegradable sleeve, and sent in a board backed envelope. The mount is titled and signed by me, and the print is not limited in number. The copyright text is not part of the printed photo.

Mount size: 30cmx40cm
Mount opening: 19cmx29cm
The print is sold unframed, but the mount fits a 30x40cm rectangular frame, such as the Ikea Ribba shown in the photograph.

The blackhouses sit perfectly placed in their environment, their form and material well-suited to the wild weather which can roll in from the Atlantic. The texture of the stone and thatch against the rugged landscape is incredibly beautiful.
