Item details

Made from a vintage cream coloured wool blanket, this small stocking has been hand embroidered with snowflakes using tapestry wool. Embroidery is on one side of the stocking only.

The stocking is fully lined with striped cotton fabric in soft rainbow shades.

The stockings also have a hand sewn pom-pom trim all around the top edge of the stocking. and a vintage ribbon loop at the top of the stocking so it can hang from a small hook whilest waiting to be filled.

Ideal for filling with small oranges, chocolate coins, and peppermint sticks (or with those smaller but more expensive and rather sparkly gifts)

The stockings measure approximately 81/2 inches from top to heel, and the main body of the stocking is 4 inches wide.

Inspired by Christmas Stockings from bygone days I made these traditional looking stockings ideally for little hands to fit inside, hoping to find chocolate coins.

They'd look sweet hung above a fireplace or tucked at the foot of someone's bed.
