I have created a series of paintings based on allotments through the seasons and particularly like allotments that are a bit messy. The attraction is the perspective of the beds, greenhouses and sheds which lead your eye through the landscape. In this a particularly yellowy grey light of autumn with the promise of the following year. Of course it features the blue container which seems to be consistent on all allotments.
