This is one of my own interpretations of a classic style. The only "ingredients" that aren't black are the magnetic slide clasp closure and the bail,both of which have a silver-plated finish. All components are hypoallergenic.
The whole necklace measures 45cm, and the fabulous pendant adds another 6cm including its silver-plated bail . As soon as I saw the pendant for sale,it reminded me of the classic symbol of the Knights Templar. The highly polished black agate has a few fine lines of grey and white. The necklace is made using 2mm black glass beads,interspersed with larger facetted crystal glass beads. They are all hand sewn into place using a minimum of two thicknesses of specialist bead thread (also black!)
Although there is no glitter involved, it does catch the light because of the facetted beads. Being black it can be worn with any colour and any style. It's gorgeous with jeans and merely stunning with a posh frock...
