This set of 4 square shaped handmade ceramic coasters are each individually decorated with an impressed lace design.

Each coaster is approx 9cm in diameter, and has rubber feet attached to the underside, preventing them from scratching your table/surface and to stop them slipping around, making your cuppa sit nice and comfortably.

The glazed surfaces of the coasters allows them to be easily wiped clean.

The handmade process of each coasters includes cutting to size, smoothing the eges, decorating, glazing and firing.

This set of 4 coasters come presented and tied with rustic raffia string, making an ideal stylish gift.

I am inspired by everything natural and organic – especially close up surfaces such as tree bark, rocks, and plants. Whilst concealed amongst these natural surroundings in the landscape, I feel relaxed and at home. I find it amazing to see the changes in rocks and coves caused by weathering and erosion from the sea, bumpy and colourful linear patterns found within fields and hills, and the surfaces in nature where no two marks are ever the same – it is this particular aspect that my ceramics connects to. You will find collections of my work ranging from dandelions to clouds, and leaves to frozen lakes.
