PLEASE NOTE: If you want some of my glass in the near future
Please order sooner rather than later as I will be closed 30th May - 19th June. Joy xx.
I' had been asked if make a witch flying on a broomstick. I said no as i didn't then but I do now.
I was so pleased when I finished the first and I hung it in the window to check it - I found that I was smiling - that is exactly what I like people to do when they see my suncatchers
I hope it makes you smile too.

A Witch on a broomstick. This is a stained glass suncatcher made entirely by hand using the Tiffany Copper Foil technique.
The witch is clothed in deep purple textured glass, some iridescent for extra shine and her pointy hat is shiny purple decorated with a silver star.
Her hair is made from curls of wire which flow out behind her.
She is riding the skies on her broomstick which is made from twisted wire. Her cat rides behind. I've think this one is called Edith but as she refuses to answer when I ask her to confirm this, your guess is as good as mine.
She was a bit cross at being attached by a hot soldering iron. The cat wasn't too happy about it either !
This suncatcher hangs from a silvery chain securely attached by solder to the top.
It is 11cm in diameter and the witch looks pretty magical when she flies across the window in search of ingredients for her spells.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
The 5th photo is of the previous witch I made so you can see each is unique though to the same pattern.
This will make a super Halloween gift but I don't make my suncatchers for special occasions, they are all year round decorations.
