These horses are highly trained for their prestigious role in British pageantry and are used for parades and events to carry a drummer and 2 solid silver kettle drums.The weight of these can be more than 450lbs in total!
Apart from strength they need to be reliable and good natured and calm as they parade through the streets of one of the busiest cities in the world.
I loved this horse and his good nature shows in his face. And the embroidered drum cover was a delight to draw.
